REVEAL WITHOUT COMPROMISE
THE PERSONALITY OF ITS TERROIR

THE WORK OF THE VINE AT DOUGE CHAMPAGNE

At Champagne Douge, we have always cultivated vines.

Everything originated from a single desire: to meet our terroir of Neuville-sur-Seine.

Our Domaine is composed of 7 hectares of vines, divided into 12 plots distributed harmoniously throughout the village of Neuville-Sur-Seine, sometimes on the right bank, sometimes on the left bank of the Seine.

As a good ambassador of the Côte des Bar, Pinot Noir represents 87% of our vines, complemented by two white grape varieties: Chardonnay for 11% and Pinot Blanc for 2%.

Since the beginning, our desire remains unchanged: to let each plot fully express its personality. It is therefore natural that we have adapted our working methods to each of them. At every moment, we remain attentive to their needs and the uniqueness of their environment.

With this logic of preserving our terroirs, we have also turned to a viticulture practice that is as healthy as possible.  We are therefore, today, certified "Viticulture Durable en Champagne" (VDC) and "Haute Valeur Environnementale" (HVE) Level 3  and are also in the third conversion year for Organic Viticulture.

Beyond labels and certifications, we also practice Biodynamics in order to integrate all environmental factors and give our vineyard every chance to produce healthy and expressive grapes.

“Look at the vine beyond a rootstock planted in the ground, see it in its entirety, both in its near and distant environment”.
