“Champagne Douge DNA is : single-village, single-vintage by choice and "Extra-Brut" by taste. Some of our cuvées are monovarietal champagnes and/or single plot.
Day after day, our craftsman approach drives us to work on our vineyards and wines in the most respectful and natural way.
Whether on the right bank or the left bank of the Seine, every one of our twelve plots must enable its personality to reveal it self in the wine it offers us.

Like the painter who plays with his palette to convey emotions to us, Florent Douge works with his wines with a strong identity and subtle pleasure.
Having been a few years at the helm of the family farm, Florent feels as if he has tested all aspects of his job. The exaltation of creation was missing, and this lover of life and beautiful things remained dissatisfied.
At the age of 40, with experience in other vineyards and having a mastered technique, he decided to embark on a new path, with the sole objective: to create a champagne of exceptional character and strong emotional tones.
Curiosity was the trigger, and the desire to experiment was the catalyst for this new challenge.

On his farm estate, located in Neuville-sur-Seine, under the benevolent and encouraging eye of Katia, Florent is committed to a respectful, attentive and careful viticulture.
Already certified "Viticulture Durable en Champagne" (VDC) and "Haute Valeur Environnementale" (HVE), it is only natural that the estate has begun a conversion to Organic Agriculture, so strengthen its commitment and attachment to its land.

With the rigor of a scientist, the passion of an artist, and the dexterity of a goldsmith, he works to create remarkable wines.

He isolates the plots, the grape varieties and vinifies single vintages, seeking quality rather than quantity, not hesitating to sacrifice the least hopeful grapes.
Thus, with his unconditional respect for nature, Florent offers epicureans rare bottles.
